Martin is the founder of Moodle – open source learning platform used by institutions all over the world.  As the full time CEO, Martin has led the Moodle HQ team for over 20 years. In January 2024, Martin has moved into the Head of Research role at the Moodle Research Lab.  He loves working on the cutting edge technologies (especially AI and AR) and understanding where education and open education technology will go in the coming decades.
